The Ultimate Sacrifice

They nailed him to the cross,
Pierced him in His side
Laughed at His agony
Made a joke of His pain
Ridiculed and spit on
He hung there
On that cross
And He
Jesus
Said....

Father, forgive them for they no not what they do.
It brings tears to my eyes when I think about the sacrifice of love He endured for us.
A love that can't be compared to any other.
A love that allowed HiM to to see pass His pain
and endure for the fathers purpose.
Ridiculed by those He only wanted to save.
Treated as less than, all the while hanging as more than.
Imagine, being loved that much. You don’t have too, you are.
