Like many I've learned that in life there is much joy and also much pain.

Things don't always go as we plan, and sometimes the things we've done with the best intentions in mine can backfire, and leave us questioning ourselves, and our purpose. It's in those times we must take comfort in knowing the one who knows.

God knows all about us. He knows our strengths, and our weaknesses; He knows how we think and why. Most importantly, with all the information he has on us, he chose us and loves us.

So when the enemy tries to steal your joy by pointing out your most recent mishap, weakness, and/or mistakes. You can tell him with a song of praise, 'My father all ready knows.'

9 Sing to him, sing praise to him;

tell of all his wonderful acts.
10 Glory in his holy name;

let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice.
11 Look to the LORD and his strength;

seek his face always.

1 Chronicles 16:9-11 (New International Version)

Be Blessed

Blessed is the man who trust in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord.

The bible says, blessed is the man who trust in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. I've circled many mountains before realizing that any situation he has allowed me to go through is surely the road he wants me to be on. He's taken me through one battle after another, and one trial after another before I realized that was the point, 'He's taken me through.' He's with me all the way and because of his presence I am able to say,' Yes, I am blessed.

(8) For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters which spreads out it's roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes;

He is the nurturer of my life. The very essence of my roots and the one who has planted me on the round in which I stand. His unfailing love for me increases my desire for him. Knowing that without him I'd be lost. I lift my hands up to him in praise for he indeed is the keeper of my soul.

But its leaf will be green.
And will not be anxious in the year of drought
nor will cease from yielding fruit. Jeremiah 17:7 -8

On bended knee I pray for the strength that sustains my life like the rivers water that bathe the roots, nurturing,quenching, protecting from the heat that for others cause drought. I will stand strong refusing to allow the troubles of the day to take hold of my soul. For anxiety has no place here I will not succumb to Satan's fear. For my father says I will not cease to bear fruit. Which will be ripe in its season and ready for his picking.

Press On (3)

The media continues to overload us with images of what they say beauty is suppose to look like. The majority of the teenagers want to dress like one star, get a face lift to look like another, and starve themselves, believing that being as skinny as a runway model will somehow improve there popularity. There is nothing wrong with wanting to improve ourselves we have a responsibility to to take care of the temple God has graced us with. It's when we do these things for the approval of others that we can easily be lead astray...

Having a positive self image begins with knowing who you are in Christ.

How do you view yourself?

Did you know God fearfully and wonderfully made you?

Do you believe you were created in his magnificent image?

You're designed, shaped, molded, and created by him.

For that reason alone your an exquisite and marvelous vessel.

Psalm 139:13-15 (New International Version)
13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth
