34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
The scripture reads so clearly...Love one another...How often have you hear a Christian sister or brother say, 'I love you with the love of the Lord.' Without thinking I believe some don't understand the power in that statement. Think about it, to love someone with the love of the Lord really means you'd lay down your life for that person. You'd sacrifice 'you,' if it meant helping and saving them. You'd do what ever it takes and give all you have because you're determined to live righteously in the Fathers presence. And if you are truly loving with the love of the Lord, you have perfected the art of loving and giving which go hand in hand.
That was the kind of woman Sharmond was. As we touch on two months since her passing, even in death He has given her the ability to continue to touch the hearts and minds of those she'd come into contact with.
She gave so much of herself and strive to live her life as God intended.
Only what you do for Christ will last and because of her love walk for Christ, even in her absence,
He's given her the ability to affect a number of life's for His glory.
Are you truly loving with the love of the Lord?
