Faith Mate

And those who know Your name will put their trust in You;For You, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You.(psalm 9:10)

I've been at this place before.  A place where I've put my trust in someone praying for the best but expecting the worse.  What does one do with that?  As my plan is to pace myself remembering past mistakes, haunts, sorrows and trying desperately not to let history of doom repeat itself.   This desire and need we have to be loved and give love in return, is it wrong?  and if it is why does it seem to work for some and not others.
I've had the habit of getting into situations I initially thought were right only to realize they weren't  and then look  for God to bless it.  You know, telling oneself that 'what the enemy meant for harm, God will work out for good,'  not taking into account that that enemy was probably the 'inner me'.

I can say in that aspect I have grown as I realize God doesn't work that way.  He will let us wallow in our ignorance for a time. As I put my trust and faith in Him I've had the opportunity to take inventory of first myself, and second the type of man I'd like to share my life with, praying and promising myself  that I won' t get involved with a man whose not after God's heart.

With eyes wide open I'm waiting for the man God sends into my life instead of settling for one who's not His best for me. Taking time to truly understand what love is outside of the word it self and the emotional plays we add to it. Desperately seeking to understand what it is that binds and hold couples together for life as I wait for that man who will love me as Christ love the church and in me find a good and valuable woman.

Husbands, love your wives even as Christ also lovethe church and gave Himself for it,(ephesians 5:25)

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;(1Corinthians 13:4)
